The Graphic Pose is a personal ongoing project I’ve been working on in my spare time.
The project consists of a variety of images that I’ve taken from my travels overseas and my daily life here in Melbourne, which is accompanied by a graphic illustration.
Each illustration is unique to the picture. The combination of real life interacting with vector illustrates the idea of the virtual world interfering or having an impact on our real world. To the point that people dismiss the real world by constantly being on their phones checking social media, playing games or taking selfies.
The artwork is meant to reflect how the virtual world has become a new addiction for some people and how it’s a struggle to disjoint themselves from it and come back to reality (the real world).
